Granada is a good sized city, with a lot of car traffic and nice shops to browse. It is also home to one of the premier attractions of Spain and the world, the Alhambra.

Granada's best-known attraction by far has to be the Alhambra. The Alhambra isn't just one building, but a complex of buildings and their fortifications. Their construction occurred over a long period of time, resulting in some remarkable contrasting architectural styles.

After visiting the Alhambra, we decided to check out the commercial district. I'm not certain where I took the above photo. In going in and out of shops, we had become disoriented. It wasn't until we happened to stumble across a street we recognized that we realized we had been heading north instead of east.
