The Museo del Ejercito is dedicated to the history of Spain’s army. The exhibits focus on the very earliest of times up to Spain’s Civil War. Here you will find the sword used by El Cid, armor from the Middle Ages, models reenacting various battles, and row after row of cannons, swords and antique guns.

The building housing the museum was a palace in the 1800's. Hint: You might be able to sell the others in your party on a visit just to see some of the richly decorated rooms hidden behind the displays.

Continue to page 2 of the museum to see a few photos of some of the more interesting exhibits.

The Museum is located at number 1 Calle Mendez Nunez.
