I am not certain of the age of the tent above.
Ever wonder what it would be like to tent camp in the military of the 19th century?

Bed as displayed inside the militaty tent.

I'd bet only one member of the troops was able to have a full bed in his tent, with chairs at that.

As I recall, this model is of the Alcazar in Toledo as it appeared after a Civil War battle.

The museum contains a number of models of famous battles. I have to say I found the models depicting the taking and temporary restoration of the bombed bridges particularly fascinating.
