The Church of Saint Stephen was built in the 1500’s A.D. While a visit to the interior of the church is worth the time, what really makes the Saint Stephen Church a sight to behold is its exterior.

Europe Destination Guide (TravelNow)

Above photo - The Iglesia Convento de San Esteban.

The front stone façade of the church constructed by Juan Antonio Ceroni is just overwhelming in its intricate ornamentation.

High above the massive entrance door is a portrayal of Christ's crucifixion.

Left -The stoning of San Esteban is depicted above the main door of the church.
