Above photo - Altar of the Old Cathedral, Catedral Vieja.

In total, there are 53 painted panels in the altarpiece displaying events in the life of Jesus and the Virgin. In the center of the first and second rows can be seen a statue of Virgen de la Viega, the patron saint of Seville.

In the semi-dome alcove above the panels is Florentino’s painting of the Last Judgment (see below).
