Outside the museum lies this (Roman?) grind stone.
The Archaeological Museum is housed in a pavilion constructed for the 1929 Fair of the Americas and is located in the Plaza de Americas.

Within the museum there are artifacts from prehistoric and early historic Espana, including finds from the Phoenicians, Romans, and Tartesians.

Museum entrance. Note - Photography is not allowed in the museum.

Considered the top archaeological museum of southern Spain, this museum contains the El Carambolo, a collection of finely worked gold (most likely jewelry), which was discovered in 1958 in the Camas district of Sevilla.

You can find the Museum of Popular Art and Traditions just across from the Archaeological Museum.

The visiting hours for this museum and the Popular Art Museum can be found at the bottom of this Destination Guide (TravelNow) Page.
