If the Valencia bullring looks to you like a Roman amphitheater there is good reason for this. The bullring's designer was Sebastián Monleón who used a Roman amphitheater in Nimes as his inspiration.
The large, neoclassical, bullring was build in the mid-19th century.
Beside attending a bullfight here you can also tour the bullfight museum which is located with in the building.
