| I
was receiving a private tour of Seville
from a professional Spain guide when, by
a chance encounter, I was introduced to
Ruth (the professional chef below). The
Seville guide raved about Ruth and in
passing suggested her Spanish cooking
class would make a good article for the
Spain Guide. Consequently, when Madrid
and Beyond suggested Ruth's cooking
classes as a "Unique Visit" for
Spain, I jumped at the chance to feature
her on the website. |
 |
Enjoy a cooking class
with a professional chef. Designed to
teach the art behind the exquisite
cuisine of Andalusia, the classes take
place in a private apartment situated in
the historic heart of the city, with
wonderful
views of the Giralda
and the Cathedral. |
|
|

The day starts with a visit
to a lively local market to find
the best produce, followed by a hands-on
cooking class. You'll learn how to
prepare a 3-course menu, and/or a
selection of tapas, featuring regional
specialities. |
 |
With the hard work over, lunch is
served on the sunny terrace, accompanied
by classic Spanish wines.
Don't worry if the wine makes you a
little forgetful--the secrets are shared
as the chef provides copies of her
recipes in English!
