On this page I plan to introduce some of the more out-of-the-ordinary activities one can engage in while in Spain. Most of these events I may not have had the opportunity to participate in myself, so, at times, I will be relying extensively on the help of third parties to describe these visits.
Seventh entry Holy Week

Holy Week (Semana Santa) Festival in Seville

The Holy Week is a moving and dramatic experience, especially in Andalucia. The Andalusians set out their processions to eclipse all others in splendor and pathos.

Sixth entry Gastronomy tours
Gastronomy Tours
In this article some of the food immersion options available to the traveler. If we had not participated in a guided food experience while in Spain we would not only have missed out on some exceptional food experiences but we would have missed some of our most memorable times in Spain
Entry five and 1/2 The Fallas Festival in Valencia
Las Fallas Fiesta
In the beginning it was part of the spring cleaning of workshops. Carpenters said adios to useless things and burned them in honor of their saint. The splendor of Fallas is magnificent but short-lived. Every spring these monuments of art take the plazas and street corners of Valencia for five days, from March 15 to 19.
Fifth entry Wine Tours.
